style=\"padding-top:0;padding-bottom:0;font-style:normal;font-weight:100;line-height:1.6\">i am a writer, critic, and art historian. my academic work revolves around the relation between aesthetic forms and global capitalism, specifically in post-reunification germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"padding-top:0;padding-bottom:0;font-style:normal;font-weight:100;line-height:1.6\">before joining harvard&#8217;s department of art, film, and visual studies as a phd candidate, i studied art history and classical archaeology in berlin, paris, and berkeley. i grew up on the baltic sea and in scotland, and now live in cambridge, ma, and berlin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"padding-top:0;padding-bottom:0;font-style:normal;font-weight:100;line-height:1.6\">i write a substack called <a href=\"https:\/\/luluemrok.substack.com\/\" data-type=\"link\" center<\/a> for russian and eurasian studies, a member of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aica.de\/mitglieder\/luise-moerke\/\">aica<\/a>, and a resident tutor at <a
